ReplyDeleteThis probably doesn't say much about my cooking skills but I love to use Morton's Nature's Seasons Seasoning Blend, just wish they would make without salt. This Alpine Touch sounds intriguing.
ReplyDeleteYUM! Twice Baked Tators!
ReplyDeleteI grew up on them only Mom took the 'fancy/lazy' way out with the little foils shells!
Thank for sharing your recipe WITH secret ingredient!
As for my favourite? It really depends upon the 'season' - no pun intend!
I go through periods of curry...or dill...or cumin!
I've also been on a kick of using hot chili sauce and/or paste!
My favorite seasoning would have to be thyme (does that count, even though it's an herb?).
ReplyDeleteI love twice baked potato. Yum!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite seasoning is celery salt...can't used it enough!
Twice Baked potatoes have been on my birthday dinner menu for years and years now... and I am making them this week. I will have to find some Alpine Touch to make them this year!
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite seasoning is Mrs. Dash. I love putting the teeniest bit on all my veggies and it cuts out the salt and the use of lots of butter. Makes veggies delish and healthy!
Can you believe I've never made twice baked potatoes and I've never heard of Alpine Touch before. I'll have to go Google it! The potatoes look delicious!
ReplyDeleteI certainly don't need to be asked twice if I want potatoes! I love them in any shape, size and colour. Now you have me very interested in your special ingredient - and to improve mash? Now you talking my language, I could live on mash alone!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the invite, I am so glad I came - you have a wonderful blog. Will be here often.
I love sugar!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol I better win.
ReplyDeleteAs anyone could tell by reading my site my all time favorite is Johnny's Garlic Seasoning...
ReplyDeletePotatoes look yummy. I must make a note about the pizza place you mentioned in Phoenix for the next time we take a trip out there. We don't have one scheduled at the moment, so no clue when we might get back out that way.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite way to fix potatoes, is what I call broasted. Wash and cut (I usually use redskins), to whatever size you want...I generally get 8 pieces per potato, spray with pam or olive oil lightly, add onion and green peppers. Cover with foil and bake about 20 minutes on 375, then remove foil for 10-15 until lightly browned. Check for softness/doneness
Quick and easy, no mess no fuss, my kind of cooking.

I put some spicy breakfast sausage in twice baked potatoes once. It was pretty good. My favorite seasoning is Tony Chacheres Creole seasoning. If I win Alpine touch I will try it too!
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous!!! love the taters, thanks for visiting my blog, and of course, spices begin and end with GARLIC!!!
ReplyDeleteoh, maybe Chipotle pepper
I put parsley in/on everything! It's not really a "spice" but that's my favorite ingredient after s&p!
ReplyDeleteI am the potato queen ~ love them (and I'm not supposed to eat them).
ReplyDeleteMy very favorite seasoning is Montreal steak seasoning ~ I put it on everything!
